A downloadable prototype for Windows and Linux

Information -

A very early prototype of a game that will hopefully be improved significantly later down the line. Heavily inspired by games like The Binding of Isaac and Hollow Knight in terms of ideal gameplay, but definitely nowhere near as story rich. Made with Godot.

The game is still unnamed because I'm not particularly creative, I'm a programmer primarily with mediocre pixel art abilities.

It should only take about ~15 minutes to go through your first run.

Inside the game at the victory and defeat screens there is a link to a form where you can provide feedback to help with the games development.

In the Future -

I plan to ultimately have 5 "layers" of levels rather than the current 2, and within each layer have multiple different options for what terrain generates, so for example the first level won't always be the green level.

Various other improvements will be made later down the road such as:

  •  an actually diverse range of enemies and bosses to face rather than slimes, orange slimes, and an annoying purple flying thing.
  • more items with unique and potentially synergising effects
  • actually having audio

As a way to help with development, I've made a feedback form where you can... give feedback. https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSdGS7MfppzruahdWYTXpxPIVHZaH0NTXRKNBSPp...

Note: Because I don't think the game is presently anything special yet, 50% of all donations go back to Itch.io.

Version Disclaimer -

Windows is the only "officially" supported version. There is a download available for Linux, but I cannot guarantee its quality.
